Job Description
The Specialist will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos, ensuring timely coverage of RDB events, and developing engaging multimedia content for digital platforms. The role requires defining terms of reference for audiovisual service providers, supervising production activities, and designing cluster-based audiovisual productions that align with RDB’s branding and strategic objectives. The position also demands creativity, strong technical skills in photography/videography, and the ability to leverage social media and digital platforms to enhance RDB’s visibility globally.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or Creative Design with at least 3 years of relevant experience; OR
Master’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or Creative Design with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong command of written and spoken English (French and Kinyarwanda are an added advantage).
Strong knowledge of editing tools and software for design, video, and photography.
Demonstrated ability to handle professional video/photo equipment.
Excellent creative and artistic direction skills with a strong eye for picture composition.
Proven experience in factual journalism, film, or television production.
Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
