Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and managing supplier and customer invoices, maintaining accurate records, and updating ERP systems with billing and product details. They will also support journal entries, liaise with stores and dispatch staff, and handle client and internal invoice queries. This position requires familiarity with ETR machines, HS code classifications, and compliance with KRA TIMS requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Enter supplier invoices and generate customer invoices in the ERP system.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with ETR and HS code requirements.
Liaise with stores staff to confirm order status, product availability, and dispatch timelines.
Maintain organized filing of invoices, dispatch documents, and financial paperwork.
Update and manage client billing information, SKUs, and price lists in the ERP system.
Perform journal entries and other accounting data entry tasks as required.
Respond promptly to invoice and billing-related queries from clients or internal teams.
Support finance department in compliance, audit preparation, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in invoicing, data entry, or accounts support roles.
Practical knowledge of ETR machines and HS code classifications under KRA TIMS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word essential).
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail with ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to systems, and manage workload efficiently.
