Customer Care Specialist – Boda Loans

Job Summary
MOGO Uganda is looking for passionate and customer-focused Customer Care Specialists to join our team at the Wandegeya branch. If you have a strong background in customer service—particularly in finance, logbook, or loan services—and are eager to grow your career with an innovative and fast-paced company, we’d love to hear from you!
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and address customer needs promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Care teams to resolve inquiries, complaints, and escalations efficiently.
Process loan applications accurately, ensuring quick and compliant disbursements in line with company policies.
Clearly explain MOGO’s financial products, loan terms, and procedures, adapting communication to each customer’s needs.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, queries, and loan applications within the ERP system.
Follow up on issues to ensure timely resolution and provide ongoing support for a positive customer experience.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling MOGO products in coordination with the Sales team.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Provide feedback on customer trends, challenges, and needs to help improve service and product offerings.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Customer Care Manager.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in customer support, preferably within the financial services, logbook, or consumer loans sector.
Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proven experience in direct sales or loan processing and disbursement.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems for data management.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
Integrity, strong work ethic, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
