Job Description
As a Credit Officer, you will manage the full loan cycle, including client engagement, application processing, credit assessment, loan approval, disbursement, and follow-up on repayments. You will evaluate customers’ credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in lending. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in handling SME loans and be familiar with relevant credit policies and procedures.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Solicit and process SME loan applications
Conduct credit analysis and evaluate loan applicants' financial standing
Make informed loan recommendations based on risk analysis
Monitor loan disbursements and ensure compliance with internal policies
Conduct follow-ups on repayments and manage loan recovery efforts
Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and payments
Provide customer support and resolve any client inquiries or issues

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Previous experience in SME loan processing and credit assessment

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
