Position: Contact Centre Social Media Executive

About the Role

As a Contact Centre Social Media Executive at Sun King, you will be pivotal in enhancing customer experiences and nurturing meaningful relationships within our online community. Your efforts will strengthen our brand reputation, build customer trust, and drive sales conversions—all while championing Sun King’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Support: Monitor and respond promptly to customer inquiries, comments, and messages across social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. Provide empathetic, solution-focused support aligned with Sun King’s tone and values.

  • Prospect Management: Identify, qualify, and engage potential customers via social media, guiding them clearly and encouraging progression through the sales funnel.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales and customer experience teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and resolution of escalated issues, delivering a seamless customer journey from first contact to conversion.

  • Brand Advocacy: Represent Sun King’s mission and values in all digital interactions, promoting access, sustainability, and empowerment to build loyalty and trust within the community.

  • Reporting & Efficiency: Document interactions accurately through call notes, reports, and data logs. Escalate complex concerns appropriately and track customer feedback trends to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or social media engagement roles.

  • Strong customer-focused mindset, demonstrating patience, active listening, and empathy.

  • Proficient with digital tools such as Zendesk, Ameyo, or other CRM/social engagement platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for digital platforms.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and maintain high service standards under pressure.

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a partnership approach.
