Job Description
The Commercial Chief of Staff will be responsible for translating strategy into action by supporting the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in planning, executing, and aligning commercial efforts. This includes coordinating strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, overseeing account management support, creating executive-level materials, and leading market intelligence efforts. The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact organization reshaping global access to medicines.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support the CCO in strategic planning, commercial priority setting, and aligning the commercial team
Lead and track the implementation of key commercial initiatives
Act as a bridge between CCO and stakeholders for streamlined communication
Oversee strategic account planning and provide insights for high-value accounts
Develop presentations, performance reports, and board materials
Improve internal operations and remove bottlenecks
Drive commercial excellence through better reporting and performance tracking
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and strategic insight gathering
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field
Master’s degree is a plus
Experience:
2–5 years in commercial strategy, consulting, business operations, or Chief of Staff-type roles
Preferably in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or global health
Competencies:
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Outstanding written and verbal communication
Data-driven mindset
Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to cross-functional settings
Passion for global health and equity in medicine access
