Job Description
As a Cleaner at SkyRock Hotels, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hotel. Your duties will include vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning floors and restrooms, dusting furniture, and sanitizing guest areas. You will also assist with basic maintenance tasks, respond to guest requests for cleaning supplies or services, and ensure all areas, including the lobby, poolside, and hotel surroundings, remain clean and well-kept. You should be professional, hardworking, and capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Vacuum carpets, deep clean floors, and shampoo rugs as needed
Clean and sterilize bathrooms and toilets including removing drain hair and scrubbing bathtubs and showers
Dust furniture, clean mirrors, windows, and light fixtures
Replace light bulbs and remove cobwebs
Clean and restock restrooms in public areas
Spot-clean walls, baseboards, and upholstery
Clean pool toilets, bars, swimming pool areas, and outer premises
Maintain cleanliness in the hotel lobby, corridors, and guest rooms
Provide basic concierge support such as delivering supplies to guests
Greet guests courteously and assist them when required
Return found items to the appropriate hotel department
Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventory

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum qualification: Any relevant discipline (Degree optional)
Previous cleaning experience in a hospitality setting is an advantage
Ability to manage time effectively
Capacity to work independently and unsupervised
Physical strength to lift at least 25 pounds
Basic cleaning and maintenance skills
Neat and professional appearance
Positive guest interaction and communication skills
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
