Job Description
The Cake Decorator will be responsible for crafting visually appealing and tasty cakes that meet customer requirements. This includes using various icing techniques, working with fondants, writing messages on cakes, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. The ideal candidate must be artistic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Decorate cakes in accordance with customer requests and company standards
Prepare icing, whipped cream, buttercream, and cake fillings
Write legibly and beautifully on cakes
Work with fondants to create intricate cake designs (an added advantage)
Keep inventory of baking and decorating supplies
Clean and sanitize workstations and decorating tools
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of finished products

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
SSCE qualification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cake decorating
Must reside near Ikoyi, Lagos
Skilled in using various decorating tools and instruments
Ability to work on feet for long periods
Good time management and communication skills
Willingness to work some Sundays and holidays
Commitment to a long-term career with the company
