Job Description
The Applications Analyst will enhance existing applications (including ERP) to meet evolving business needs; support Oracle ERP and Windows-based applications; manage application/database planning, installation, testing, modifications, and evaluations; safeguard data integrity and performance; and enforce change-management and corporate IT policy. The role also covers month-end support, reporting, and coordination of GCC/change processes to keep systems available and compliant.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Improve functionality of current apps/ERP; design, develop, test, and deploy new solutions.
Provide frontline and advanced support so Oracle ERP users meet business objectives.
Support Windows-based business applications and integrations.
Plan, develop, install, test, modify, and evaluate databases and related client services/reporting.
Ensure application reliability on the database layer; maintain data integrity.
Administer database operations/performance/availability; manage change, deployment, and incident processes (incl. GCC management).
Generate/maintain operational and month-end reports; ensure compliance with Corporate IT Policy.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
5+ years hands-on ERP experience (Financials & Supply Chain modules: setups/customizations).
Strong SQL query writing; report development/deployment within an ERP platform.
Oracle Forms development skills; Oracle E-Business Suite R12 knowledge is a plus.
Proficient in data processing systems, networking, and systems development.
Diagnose/troubleshoot application issues; propose solutions/workarounds.
Strong technical understanding of installed apps; high accuracy and attention to detail.
Team player; able to work under pressure; solid problem-solving skills.
