EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF ESP SYSTEMS AND SERVICES- FOR TILENGA CA-1 & LA-2 NORTH WORKOVER AND RIGLESS CAMPAIGN

Total Energies EP Uganda (COMPANY), in its capacity as Operator of Contract Area (CA) 1 and License Area ( LA) 2, in conjunction with its Joint Venture partner(s), invites experienced and qualified companies/entities to express interest in the provision of ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) Systems and Services for Tilenga CA-1 & LA-2 North Workover and Rigless Campaign in Uganda

Description of the Scope of Services:

COMPANY intends to issue a future Call for Tender for ESP Systems and Services for retrieval and deployment of ESPs during drilling operations, workover and rigless operations to be performed during the life of the Field for Tilenga CA-1 & LA-2 North in Uganda

The Scope of Works include Equipment and Services is as below

Rigless retrievable ESP: The ability to retrieve and deploy ESPs (electric submersible pump) system assembly but requires no rig or hoisting equipment to replace failed or sub-optimal ESP system and allow failed ESP pumps or motors to be replaced quickly rigless.
Low rates Tubing retrievable ESPS with ability to operate in the specific oil viscosity of Tilenga environment (For information only. ol viscosities: 3 to 300 qu: emulsion viscosities: up to 1,500 cp).
Tubing retrievable ES PCP to be used as alternative to the standard ESPs in the Tilenge environment

Following requirements to be demonstrated:

Rigless retrievable ESP
Best technology for easy intervention means. Best technology for robustness and ESP lifetime
Best technology for production optimization *Low rate ESPs
Compatibility with Tilenga oil viscosity context
Ability to cover low production rates.
ES PCP
Compatibility with Tilenga oil viscosity context
Ability to cover large production rate windows

Organisational, Technical, HSE, and financial requirements to set-up and operate the Rigless ESP System to provide the above-mentioned services, compliant with industry & COMPANY standards.

COMPANY seeks to identify a company possessing or capable of providing rigless ESP, Lowrate ESPs, and ES PCP Systems, and Services for retrieval, deployment of these ESPS, during drilling operations, workovers and rigless operations to be performed during the life of the Field. The supplier shall comply with COMPANY'S technical requirements to perform efficiently the operations. It must consider environmental constraints and quality standards. Potential bidders shall be encouraged to submit bids with licensed and efficient technologies, proposed to achieve COMPANY'S requirement and objectives

Interested parties (individual firms or proposed partnerships) shall, as a minimum, be required to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience in ESP equipment and services for an international oil company or major operator

Demonstrated commitment to statutory National Content requirements for oil and gas operations.

Current registration to, or application to be registered to the National Supplier Database for the year 2024.

Proof of being suitably resourced with personnel with substantial qualifications and experience in the required services.
Proof of good financial solvency to deliver the services required.
Proof of appropriate Quality, Health, Safety, Social, Security and Environment policies, procedures, and processes in compliance with applicable national and industry standards

Interested companies/entities who meet the above minimum requirements shall submit a request by email (attaching company profile) to: ep-ugep-dul-contractandprocurement@totalenergies.com for a pre-qualification questionnaire on or before 17100 Kampala time 14 May 2024 and quoting "Prequalification Questionnaire request Ref No CTR099555 for ESP Systems and Services for Tillanga CA-1 & LA-2 North Workover and Rigless Campaign".

A Webinar will be held to offer more insights into this Expression of interest. The link and date will be shared by email with the Interested companies/entites

Interested parties to be prequalified for the Services are encouraged to provide Name, Address, Contact and Email to facilitate the issuance of a pre-qualification questionnaire through COMPANY's official e-sourcing platform SAP-ARIBA

Note: Only prequalified bidders will receive invitations to submit bids in furtherance of the call for tender process.
