The expected outcome of the ECD component is to Improve access to Quality Early Learning opportunities for children aged 0-6 years in Palorinya refugee settlement and host communities. Child protection and livelihoods of parents will be mainstreamed. The Project Assistant will ensure that the project activities are implemented in accordance with the project budget and timelines. The Officer will coordinate with Project stakeholders at the ECD centers, the refugee settlement and host communities, and local government to ensure effective execution of project interventions. Duties, Roles and Responsibilities The Project Assistant will undertake the following roles and responsibilities: Ensure that project activities are implemented in a timely and efficient manner in the targeted communities. Closely work with and support project stakeholders including parents, ECD caregivers, and community leaders to support implementation of project activities. Support acquisition, distribution, and safety of play materials to all targeted children and households. Support in organizing events and training for parents, Care givers, and Community leaders. Manage and account for project funds in compliance with ChildFund’s standards.
