Tender Description:
This tender targets experienced electrical equipment suppliers to provide critical distribution transformers for the Company’s electricity generation and distribution network. The transformers will strengthen and expand the company’s power distribution capability, ensuring reliable electricity supply for Bugala Island residents and operations. Bidders are required to meet technical specifications, deliver the equipment safely, and comply with the Company procurement and delivery procedures.
Scope of Work:
The selected supplier will be responsible for the supply, transport, and delivery of 50KVA, 100KVA, 200KVA, and 315KVA 33/415V three-phase copper winding distribution transformers to the company. The supplier must ensure that all transformers meet the required technical specifications and quality standards, provide secure packaging for transport, and deliver the equipment to the designated company storage locations in Kalangala Town or Kampala by the specified deadlines. The supplier will also be expected to coordinate with the Company for inspection and verification of delivered equipment, address any delivery discrepancies, and ensure the transformers are ready for installation and integration into KIS’s electricity distribution network.
