Job Description
The Zonal Sales Manager will focus on achieving revenue and customer base targets through strategic channel management, driving site profitability, building partner engagement, leading field teams, and ensuring service and product excellence. They will monitor competition, prepare and submit reports, manage field agent teams, enhance brand visibility, and ensure product availability within the Kericho region.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Achieve sales (revenue) and customer base targets for Mobile and Mobile Financial Services.
Drive the channel-specific agenda aligned with company targets (ASOs, SSOs, Agencies).
Drive site profitability through localized activities and programs.
Lead and oversee field teams including Trade Development Representatives (TDRs), Direct Sales Agents (DSAs), and Commandoes.
Ensure high customer service standards in both own and partner stores.
Monitor competitor activities and develop appropriate counteraction strategies.
Prepare and submit periodic reports as required.
Manage partner engagement, visibility, product availability, and agent team productivity.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
3 - 5 years’ experience in a sales and distribution role within the Telecommunications (Telco) or FMCG sector.
