Job Description
The Territory Trainer will execute sales and customer service training initiatives for Sales & Distribution and High Value Business teams. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Training & Channel Management, with administrative oversight by the Territory Manager, the trainer will ensure that all training modules are delivered effectively, with active participation and performance tracking. The role involves coaching, in-market reinforcement, and collaborating with stakeholders to align training with business goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Deliver in-person and on-the-ground training sessions to field sales agents, retail teams, and high-value business representatives
Customize national training content to fit the territory’s specific needs
Monitor training engagement and knowledge retention via evaluations, quizzes, and role plays
Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires and periodic refresher training
Coach field teams to improve performance and develop capabilities
Collaborate with Territory Managers to address performance issues with tailored training
Gather field insights to inform improvements in training programs
Serve as a liaison between training and field operations teams
Support performance reviews with training input and recommendations
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a training, sales support, or related role
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Ability to coach and mentor staff effectively
Field-oriented with an understanding of sales environments
Good organizational and reporting skills
