Job Description
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for full-cycle HR functions including talent acquisition, employee onboarding and offboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, compliance, and maintaining HR systems and records. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR leader who thrives in high-energy environments, can build strong interpersonal relationships, ensures compliance with employment laws, and upholds a strong workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values. The HR Manager will play a critical role in engaging a large and diverse workforce and shaping a resilient, accountable, and performance-driven team.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead recruitment processes including crafting job profiles, sourcing, onboarding, and offboarding.
Build and maintain a pipeline of casual and permanent staff.
Design and implement training programs to enhance staff performance and coherence.
Lead performance management systems and performance reviews.
Promote and maintain a strong company culture based on accountability and shared values.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws, especially for casual and minimum-wage employees.
Manage disciplinary processes and employee grievances fairly and lawfully.
Maintain accurate HR records and compliance documentation.
Optimize HR systems for efficiency, data accuracy, and privacy.
Support cross-functional collaboration and internal talent development.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
A member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Kenya (IHRM-Ke).
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in security, marketing, hospitality, or operations.
Proven ability to manage large and diverse teams.
Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
Proven track record in talent scouting, employee engagement, and leadership development.
