Technical Officer – Sustainability Reporting
Purpose of the Job
To oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of the Ministry’s Environmental, Social, Economic, and Governance (ESEG) performance data, ensuring compliance with recognized sustainability frameworks.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support sustainability-related data collection and management.
Establish systems for collecting, verifying, and managing ESEG data.
Coordinate with departments to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare annual and periodic sustainability reports using global frameworks (UNEP SPP Review, GRI, SASB).
Analyze sustainability trends and produce clear reports.
Ensure compliance with sustainability strategy and regulations.
Support stakeholder communication and engagement on sustainability matters.
Contribute to identifying sustainability improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with auditors and regulators on data verification.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, BCOM, or BBA (Procurement).Professional membership or sustainable procurement certifications are an added advantage.

Proficiency with procurement systems
Strong communication skills
High ethical conduct
