Job Description

The Support Assistant Program is responsible for:

  • Logistical Support: Assisting in the planning and organization of meetings and workshops, including providing necessary logistical backup.

  • Inventory Management: Ensuring adequate stocks of key office materials are maintained at all times and managing supplies/logistics inventory.

  • Petty Cash Handling: Managing petty cash, ensuring timely replenishment, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Office Maintenance: Coordinating requests for installation and repair services in line with organizational policies, and ensuring office premises are clean and well-organized.

  • Documentation: Filing key documents and ensuring that all staff complete their LDR time sheets timely to maintain compliance.

  • Payment Coordination: Setting up payment charters to facilitate timely payments and tracking documents to avoid loss of payment vouchers.

  • Visitor Coordination: Managing the coordination of visitors and organizing the reception area to accommodate visitors appropriately.

  • Store Management: Ensuring store request books are properly filled, stock cards are accurately maintained, and monthly store counts and reports are submitted.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Office Management, Business Administration, Human Resource, Organizational Psychology, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar or related role.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer Care: Excellent customer care and public relations skills.
