Job Description
The Administrative & Sales Assistant at Cake Studio Uganda will support daily operations, manage customer interactions, and assist in driving sales through both in-store and digital channels. This role requires an organized, responsive professional comfortable with both administrative tasks and customer-facing responsibilities.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks
- Handle order records, invoices, and basic documentation
- Coordinate schedules for orders, deliveries, and pickups
- Maintain organized records of customers and transactions
- Phone calls
- Social media (Instagram, etc.)
- Guide customers through the cake ordering process
- Upsell products and recommend suitable options
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales
- Receive and process cake orders accurately
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery
- Track order status and communicate updates to customers
- Assist in managing social media accounts
- Post content as per the content plan
- Respond to comments and messages
- Support basic digital marketing activities
- Assist in improving customer experience
- Support team operations where necessary
- Provide feedback on customer trends and preferences
