Job Description
Job Title: Supply Planning and Procurement Executive (Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Supply Planning Executive (SPE) is responsible for stewardship of the Supplies and Logistics functions to meet company’s market share and profit objectives; The SPE will play a supporting role by providing timely reports to enable management decision making at all times when needed
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct Market Research and Intelligence: Perform market analysis to identify trends, competitive strategies, and opportunities to reduce costs, ensure timely supplies, and support business objectives.
Forecasting and Procurement: Develop accurate product forecasts based on usage trends, procure products to support sales units, and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Supplier and Partner Management: Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products and services.
Logistics and Documentation Oversight: Oversee product evacuation, document processing, and tax compliance to avoid delays, demurrages, or penalties during transit.
Budgeting and Reporting: Develop annual budgets aligned with business objectives and prepare periodic stock forecasts, performance analyses, and recommendations for the MD and CMT.
Cost Optimization and Strategy Implementation: Evaluate procurement and supply chain processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Policy Compliance and Additional Duties: Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines while executing other tasks assigned by the STM.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; FMCG oil and gas experience is an advantage
Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines proactively.
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Good problem-solving skills and professional scepticism.
