Job Description
This 6-month internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Strategy and Partnerships team at Safaricom. Interns will engage in strategic initiatives, support partnership development, contribute to high-impact projects, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in the telecom and fintech industries. Interns will participate in leadership coaching, learning and development courses, and CSR initiatives. Upon completion, they will gain market-relevant skills, experience in cross-functional collaboration, and access to Safaricom's professional network through the MPA Accelerator alumni community.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the formulation and implementation of business strategies and partnerships
Support research and analysis on market trends and industry best practices
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic business proposals
Help monitor and evaluate the performance of existing partnerships
Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions
Contribute to CSR and innovation-related projects
Engage in structured learning programs and coaching sessions

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Eligibility Criteria:
Aged between 21 and 26 years
Completed undergraduate coursework or graduated within the last one year
Not in permanent employment
Available full-time for 6 months
Competencies:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Passion for innovation and strategy development
Adaptability and a willingness to learn
