Job Description
As a Project Administration Intern, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the organization. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in administrative and operational functions of project delivery. Interns will benefit from structured learning, mentorship by industry professionals, and exposure to real-time project challenges and solutions. In addition to receiving a monthly stipend, interns will have access to learning and development (L&D) courses, leadership coaching, and a CSR engagement project. This is a valuable opportunity to build strong project management skills and become part of the MPA accelerator alumni community.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with scheduling and coordinating project activities and meetings
Support documentation and tracking of project plans, milestones, and reports
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure timely communication and updates
Maintain accurate records and assist in data entry for project progress
Contribute to identifying project risks and assisting in mitigation planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various tasks
Participate in a CSR project aligned with Safaricom’s community objectives
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Eligibility Criteria:
Aged between 21–26 years
Completed undergraduate coursework or graduated in the past year
Not currently in permanent employment
Available for 6 consecutive months
Desired Competencies:
Basic understanding of project management principles
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Problem-solving and team collaboration skills
Eagerness to learn and take initiative
