Job Description
The Storekeeper will play a key role in managing inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, and maintaining smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments. Working under a fixed-term contract, the ideal candidate will have prior logistics experience, be numerically competent, and capable of working under pressure. While hospitality experience is an advantage, training will be provided.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Administer and control stock to ensure availability and prevent shortages
Maintain accurate inventory records and reports
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal staff
Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing supplies
Support in the preparation of inventory audits
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education and Experience:
Matric or qualification in Logistics
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a logistics environment
Hospitality industry experience is advantageous but not essential
Experience using Worksmart and SAFRON systems is a plus
Supervisory experience is an added advantage
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Computer literacy
Strong numeracy and calculation skills
Effective planning and organizational abilities
Good time management
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Delegation skills
