It is established in 2005 for more than 13 years with different diversified business verticals serving all over Uganda with its wide network. We are not only equipped with machinery and also with dedicated team expertise in manufacturing, Assembling, Marketing, and After Sales Service. Job Summary: This is a full-time role for a Storekeeper. The Storekeeper will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including packing, inventory control, inventory management, unloading, and forklift operation. The role is an on-site position located in Kampala, Uganda.

Inventory Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and count incoming shipments of goods or materials.

  • Record and maintain accurate inventory levels using manual or computerized systems.

  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the store or warehouse.


Stock Replenishment:

  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate stock needs based on demand and sales forecasts.

  • Replenish stock by ordering from suppliers or transferring inventory from other locations within the organization.

  • Ensure that shelves and storage areas are adequately stocked and neatly organized.


Order Processing:

  • Process orders from customers or internal departments, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.

  • Verify accuracy of orders against purchase orders or shipping manifests.

  • Coordinate with shipping and logistics departments to arrange for timely delivery of orders.


Quality Control:

  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies.

  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors or relevant departments for resolution.

  • Ensure that products are stored and handled in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Documentation and Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.

  • Prepare and maintain inventory reports, stock records, and other documentation as required.

  • Generate and update inventory-related documents such as purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.


Equipment Maintenance:

  • Ensure that storage equipment, such as shelves, racks, and forklifts, are in good working condition.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions or damage to maintenance staff.


Security and Loss Prevention:

  • Implement security measures to prevent theft, unauthorized access, or damage to inventory.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and mitigate loss.

  • Collaborate with security personnel or management to investigate and resolve inventory-related incidents

  • Experience in unloading and forklift operation

  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
