Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
The Store Clerk will provide key services to support the Logistics function. These include ensuring proper documentation for all store functions including shipping and receiving records and supervising the coming in and going out of stock. Additionally, ensuring the store is well organized and properly maintained.
The successful hire will be based in our Mbale field office and report to the Area Coordinator and Logistics Officer (This role has multiple reporting lines).
This is an entry-level position.

Accept delivered products and ensure that they are properly counted, and relevant documents filled.
Ensure the weekly stock counts are accurate, reconciled and forwarded to hub manager
Ensure all products are properly loaded and unloaded according to the packing list
Ensure stock cards are all up to date for each stock item
Ensure stock room is neatly kept and labelled clearly
Communicate with group coordinators and group leaders and plan for deliveries
Coordinate and track movement of stock
File delivery notes of products from deliveries signed group leaders and customers
Review service provider rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
Prepare daily stock delivery summary in excel and share it with the hub manager
Prepare products for transfer to clients
Replenish inventory by making orders
Ensure customer received product by receiving delivery notes
Replace damaged or missing products as approved by hub managers -Warranties
Attend weekly stock reconciliation and stock level adjustment meetings with the hub manager
