Job Description
As a Solutions Architect at Coalition Technologies, you will work closely with the sales, design, project management, and development teams. Your role includes technical consulting, needs analysis, platform recommendation, and solution development tailored to the client’s requirements. You’ll also support proposal development, engage in client-facing meetings, and ensure successful delivery of complex e-commerce and web solutions. Additionally, you may be tasked with performing front-end or back-end development work and emergency support on high-priority projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Educate prospects on e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WordPress, etc.) and match business needs with platform capabilities.
Conduct technical scoping sessions and gather key client requirements.
Participate in client demos and proposal presentations alongside sales and project teams.
Document project requirements and client needs.
Act as a strategic advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
Lead the response process for RFPs and proposals.
Collaborate with third-party partners to develop custom solutions.
Develop internal content like white papers and sales collateral.
Innovate and enhance internal processes and recurring client solutions.
Stay up-to-date with platform features and market trends.
Assist design and PM teams in UX planning and discovery phases.
Provide critical support for key clients when needed.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
4–5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or senior web development.
Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
Proficiency with major CMS and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, Magento, BigCommerce).
Proven skills in project scoping and architectural planning.
Confident in both executive-level presentations and technical deep dives.
Experience with POS, ERP, order management, and payment gateway integration.
Sales methodology or solution selling experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Motivated self-starter with collaborative spirit.
