Job Description

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in enhancing the organization’s online presence. The internship involves developing and managing engaging content across platforms, implementing social media strategies, assisting with digital marketing campaigns, and monitoring performance metrics. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand messaging and audience engagement goals. The position is based in Kampala with flexible remote work options.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage compelling content across social media platforms

  • Develop and implement strategic social media marketing plans

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics

  • Engage actively with the online community and respond to queries/comments

  • Support digital marketing campaigns and promotional efforts

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content strategy and calendar

  • Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates
