About the Role
Our client—an innovative digital platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in Uganda—is seeking a highly motivated Partnership / Sponsorship Manager. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships that support platform growth, enhance user experience, and generate sustainable revenue.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development
Identify and research potential partners, including corporations, NGOs, foundations, and government entities.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic partners.
Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements.
Ensure effective implementation and management of partnership deliverables.
2. Sponsorship Acquisition
Identify companies and organizations aligned with supporting women-led initiatives.
Develop and deliver persuasive sponsorship proposals.
Negotiate, secure, and manage sponsorship deals.
Oversee sponsorship fulfillment and maintain sponsor satisfaction.
3. Platform Growth & Integration
Use partnerships and sponsorships to drive user acquisition and engagement.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to integrate partnership features into the platform.
Monitor and analyze the impact of partnerships on key performance metrics.
4. Business Development
Continuously seek new partnership and sponsorship opportunities to increase platform reach and revenue.
Stay informed on trends in women’s entrepreneurship and the broader digital ecosystem.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
3–5 years of proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship management.
Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value partnerships and sponsorships.
In-depth understanding of the women's entrepreneurship ecosystem in Uganda.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and a strong team player.
