Job Description
The Senior Sales Executive will execute the hotel’s sales strategy to expand market share across corporate, group, airline, travel trade, and event segments. The role involves proactive prospecting, sales calls and presentations, account management, and close collaboration with Operations, Front Office, and Marketing to convert opportunities. You will research market trends, monitor media releases, and provide actionable insights that inform promotions and client engagement. Success will be measured by new business acquisition, account growth, pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Implement approved sales plans and programmes to promote, sell, and register prospective clients onto the hotel’s platform.
Proactively source new business through sales calls, client visits, presentations, and networking.
Conduct desk research to identify new opportunities, segments, and approaches to support business development.
Monitor press releases and market updates; brief the Sales Manager/Head of Sales as required.
Promote the hotel’s brand and values through approved service standards and platforms.
Conduct regular client visits, maintain frequent contact, and deepen relationships with key accounts.
Identify and convert opportunities for incremental revenue through targeted marketing and sales efforts.
Actively launch and champion the company’s service capabilities to increase penetration and revenue across priority segments.
Maintain accurate records of activities, pipelines, and outcomes; prepare periodic sales reports.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar sales role within hospitality; prior exposure to a 4/5-star hotel environment is a strong advantage.
Working knowledge of hotel systems/PMS (e.g., eZee, OPERA) is an advantage.
Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent relationship-building and account management capability.
High level of initiative, organisation, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales CRM usage.
