Job Description
The Duty Manager serves as the on-site manager for assigned shifts (with focus on nights), directing front office activities, coordinating with Housekeeping, Security, F&B and Engineering, and handling escalations in the absence of the Front Office Manager. The role conducts staff briefings, monitors service standards and SOP compliance, manages incidents/complaints, ensures guest and staff safety, and uses the PMS (EZEE/OPERA) for room assignments, postings, and reporting. The Duty Manager drives shift productivity, documents occurrences, and hands over accurately to incoming leaders.

How to Apply
Maintain a visible management presence; act as Manager on Duty.
Direct and oversee all hotel operations during night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Conduct pre-/post-shift briefings; allocate tasks and monitor completion.
Handle guest complaints, disturbances, special requests, and problem-solving with timely resolution.
Coordinate cross-department activities (Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, F&B, Engineering).
Monitor lobby/front office standards, room allocations, late arrivals/early departures, and VIP handling.
Use PMS (EZEE/OPERA) for reservations, postings, night audits support, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene, and safety protocols; document incidents and prepare shift reports.
Mentor and support team members; uphold 4/5-star service expectations.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years in a similar hotel leadership role.
Experience in 4/5-star hotel environments.
Strong communication, organization, administration, and multitasking skills.
Proficient with hotel PMS (EZEE/OPERA).
Calm under pressure; decisive, guest-centric, and safety-conscious.
