Job Description
The Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing will design and execute integrated commercial plans across assigned properties. The role manages the sales pipeline, account management, pricing and promotions, and brand campaigns; oversees digital and offline marketing; and partners with Operations, Revenue Management, and Finance to maximize RevPAR/total revenue and profitability. The director will own forecasting, budgeting, and performance dashboards; maintain key client and partner relationships; handle PR and brand reputation; ensure PMS utilisation (EZEE/OPERA) for accurate reporting; and coach a results-driven team aligned to 4/5-star service standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute cluster sales & marketing strategies and annual commercial plans.
Lead sales management: segmentation, key accounts, RFPs, contracting, and pipeline health.
Drive marketing & brand promotion: campaigns, digital/social, content, events, partnerships.
Maximize revenue and manage profitability with data-led pricing, promotions, and mix management.
Build and sustain client relationships; conduct sales calls, roadshows, and familiarization trips.
Track performance and report KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, GOP, channel mix, campaign ROI).
Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for the commercial function.
Oversee public relations and brand reputation management.
Ensure accurate use of PMS (EZEE/OPERA) and related tools for analytics and reporting.
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales & marketing team; foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field.
Proven senior sales & marketing leadership in a 4/5-star hotel environment.
10+ years in a similar position (cluster/multi-property experience preferred).
Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Proficiency with hotel PMS (EZEE/OPERA) and commercial analytics/reporting.
Commercial acumen across revenue management, budgeting, and brand strategy; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
