Job Description
The role involves maintaining databases of accredited maritime training institutions and relevant stakeholders, managing records of training resources, issuing accreditation certificates, and vetting institutions. The officer will support the organization of Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops and ensure the effective administration of training regulations in the maritime logistics sector.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain an up-to-date database of all accredited maritime training institutions
Maintain records of training manuals, instructors’ guides, and all training-related resource materials
Print accreditation certificates for training institutions
Maintain records of training materials that have been distributed or sold
Prepare reports after vetting training institutions
Assist in organizing and facilitating Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops
Develop and maintain a database of all relevant stakeholders in maritime transport logistics training

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Port Management, Shipping, Transport Economics, Logistics, Business Management/Administration or a related field
At least three (3) years of experience as a Maritime Transport Logistics Training Officer
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance
Proficiency in computer applications
