Job Description
The selected candidate will monitor and control access to RELON’s facilities, conduct patrols, respond to security incidents, and ensure safety protocols are upheld. The individual will also be responsible for daily cleaning tasks within the office compound and will contribute to creating a professional and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The role involves working closely with the administrative team to maintain cleanliness, support events, and improve safety and maintenance standards. This role is crucial for supporting the efficiency of the BEACON project.

Security and Safety:
Monitor access to office premises.
Conduct routine patrols to detect and deter unauthorized access.
Respond to security breaches and emergencies promptly.
Surveillance and Reporting:
Observe activities using security cameras (if available).
Prepare and submit daily activity and incident reports.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Perform daily cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal).
Maintain cleanliness of common areas (reception, meeting rooms, restrooms).
Assist in setting up and breaking down spaces for meetings/events.
Customer Service:
Provide professional assistance to visitors.
Promote a friendly and welcoming office environment.
Team Collaboration:
Report maintenance and safety concerns to the admin team.
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on safety protocols.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role (security, cleaning, or both).
Experience in community-based or nonprofit organizations is an asset.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain composed during emergencies.
Physical fitness for patrolling and cleaning tasks.
Language:
Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends.
