Design and deliver engaging sales training programs, workshops, and learning modules to boost team performance and product understanding.
Manage and update the online training platform, ensuring training content is current and track employee progress through assessments.
Conduct training needs analysis using performance metrics, feedback, interviews, and consultations with sales leadership.
Create sales-specific learning materials, including pitch decks, objection-handling guides, product manuals, and e-learning content.
Facilitate training sessions using various formats: in-person workshops, webinars, virtual classrooms, and on-the-job coaching.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using post-training assessments, feedback surveys, and sales performance data.
Stay up to date with the latest sales techniques, industry trends, and tools to continually enhance training content.
Work closely with sales managers to align training goals with business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of training participation, outcomes, and generate regular reports.
Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to sales staff when needed.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Corporate Trainer, or similar role in a sales-oriented environment.
Solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and training content development.
Strong ability to assess training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
Preferred Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in designing and implementing sales or employee training programs.
Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
High level of adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
