Job Description
Working onsite within a high-traffic supermarket electronics section, the Sales Representative will welcome shoppers, identify needs, demonstrate product features/benefits, and advise on suitable options. The role maintains clean, well-stocked displays, processes purchases and returns, manages basic customer complaints/escalations, and actively upsells/cross-sells to maximize revenue. Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, product expertise, store presentation, and consistent attainment of sales goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess needs in the electronics section.
Provide accurate product information; demonstrate features and explain benefits.
Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and technology trends.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to increase basket size.
Ensure shelves/displays are clean, organized, priced, and fully stocked.
Process customer purchases and handle returns where applicable.
Address customer complaints or escalate to the section/store manager.
Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets; submit sales updates as required.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum qualification: OND/SSCE; BA/BSc/HND is an added advantage.
At least 2 years’ retail or electronics sales experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of consumer electronics and gadgets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive selling skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; target-driven mindset.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month.
