Job Description
The Instructor will deliver structured classes on core cybersecurity topics (e.g., threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, incident response, security tooling), facilitate interactive labs and discussions, evaluate assignments/projects/exams, and provide timely feedback. The role includes keeping course content aligned with current industry practices, guiding learners from diverse backgrounds, and mentoring them toward entry-level analyst readiness and relevant certifications.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality instruction following the established cybersecurity curriculum.
Facilitate practical labs, demonstrations, and scenario-based exercises.
Assess learner performance via assignments, projects, and exams; give constructive feedback.
Update lesson delivery with current threat trends, tools, and best practices.
Mentor learners on career paths, certification prep, and portfolio development.
Maintain class records, attendance, and grading in line with school policies.
Collaborate with the academic team to improve delivery and learner outcomes.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
1–2 years’ experience in cybersecurity (analyst/engineer/operations) or teaching in a related field.
Solid grasp of security principles, methodologies, and common tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, EDR).
Clear communicator able to explain complex concepts accessibly.
Presentation, facilitation, and classroom management skills.
Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
Commitment to staying current with industry trends and ethical, safe practices.
Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month.
