Job Description
Working onsite, the Waiter/Waitress will welcome guests, present menus, take accurate orders, and coordinate with kitchen/bar teams to deliver timely service. The role maintains table settings before/during/after service, checks guest satisfaction, handles bills and payments, follows food safety and hygiene standards, keeps the dining area clean and organized, collaborates with teammates for smooth service, and tactfully upsells menu items where appropriate.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly; present menus and explain specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders; relay to kitchen/bar.
Serve meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
Set, reset, and maintain tidy table settings throughout service.
Check on guests, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
Process bills, accept payments, and issue receipts.
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Keep dining area clean, organized, and adequately stocked.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum qualification: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
~1 year experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage items.
Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods; carry trays/plates; lift up to 25 lbs.
Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month.
