Job Summary
Paper Toils Uganda is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services at the best possible prices, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records of purchases. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company’s supply chain.

How to Apply
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast purchasing needs.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and ensure supplier compliance with company standards.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
Collaborate with accounts to ensure timely payment to suppliers and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activity, costs, and supplier performance.
Ensure all procurement activities are documented and filed for auditing and compliance purpose
Minimum: Diploma in Procurement and Logistics or a related field.
Added Advantage: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software is desirable.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
