How to Apply
Project Governance, Planning, and Initiation.
Establish and maintain standards and processes for project management at BUBL.
Contribute to formulation of the Bank’s strategy and annual workplans, coordinating with departments to identify and prioritise projects for inclusion in the annual strategic plans.
Project Execution
Lead the Women’s Economic Empowerment project and other assigned projects from requirements definition through to project implementation to benefits realisation and closure.
Products
Participate in the development of new/refined product concepts as part of the BMGF Women’s Economic Empowerment project and other related projects.
Participate in the implementation of Pilot Test and Rollout Protocols for new products and services and monitor progress in their implementation.
Actively participate in training and or sensitizing the Bank staff on the new and refined financial products and services.
Change management.
Create and implement change management plans to maximize user adoption of new projects and products.
Knowledge management
Ensure successful post implementation reviews of projects and document findings.
Coordinate research and learning activities for the project where applicable. Document and share lessons learnt from projects with relevant stakeholders.
People management
Build and develop project teams to ensure optimum performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or project management or any related field).
Post graduate training or certification in project management is an added advantage
Minimum of at least 5 years working experience and knowledge of banking products and operations.
A proactive problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
A result-oriented team player, honest, and of high integrity
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Thorough knowledge of bank’s operational & credit processes.
Understanding of banking laws and knowledge of risk management and legal issues related to banking.
Knowledge of core banking systems and digital financial services.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Proven experience as a project manager or similar role, with a successful track record of managing complex project
