Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Program Delivery Manager (PDM), this role will be part of the Extended Management Team(EMT) and will plan, organize, coordinate and lead project implementation at the area program. Will ensure projects stay on time, scope, and budget, promote practice of performance, accountability, and risk management in line with in line with FH’s “Resilience & Flourishing Through Systems Transformation (RFTS) program model. Co-lead technical design of technical projects with support from the technical program specialists in line with FH’s program design guidelines. Co-Lead together with the Sponsorship relations coordinator community awareness, relationship building with community leaders, churches and families. Consequently, overseeing registration of children at the new area program. Support the ecosystem approach of accountability for all functional departments of finance, procurement, admin, programs, HR and business development.

Strategic Planning: Developing long-term strategies and goals for the program area in alignment with the overall objectives of the organization or project.
Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources, including budget, personnel, equipment, and facilities, to ensure the effective implementation of programs and projects.
Program Development: Designing, implementing, and managing programs and initiatives within the program area to address specific objectives or challenges.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Establishing systems to monitor the progress and performance of programs, collecting relevant data, and conducting evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, government agencies, and community organizations, to ensure collaboration and support for program objectives.
Policy Development and Compliance: Keeping abreast of relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines, and ensuring that programs within the area comply with these requirements.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and challenges to program implementation and developing strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
Communication and Reporting: Providing regular updates and reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders, including senior management, funders, and the public.
Capacity Building: Supporting the professional development and capacity building of staff members within the program area to enhance their skills and expertise.
Continuous Improvement: Encouraging a culture of learning and innovation within the program area, seeking feedback, and implementing changes to improve program effectiveness and efficiency over time.
Advocacy and Outreach: Advocating for the program area's objectives and outcomes to external stakeholders and the broader community, raising awareness and garnering support for related issues.
Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborating with other program areas or departments within the organization, as well as external partners, to leverage resources, expertise, and opportunities for mutual benefit.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in development studies/social sciences, business administration, and development agricultural sciences, environment and resilience programing.
Post graduate qualification in project management, management, development studies or M&E is an added advantage
Experience in sponsorship related projects is an added advantage.
Experience in multisector programing with focus on value chain and business development, health and Nutrition and WASH
Typically, 5+ years of experience in program management, compliance, financial management experience. Experience with working with private and institutional donors.
Non-profit ministry experience is a plus. Program leadership experience that includes risk and compliance management, financial, and opportunity development

Demonstrated computer -operating skills, including proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft Office products, and virtual technologies such as Skype, google meet and/ or Zoom.
