Job Description
The Product Configuration Specialist will work closely with technology and business teams to configure digital banking platforms, analyze and document system requirements, support product roll-outs, and drive continuous platform improvement. The role involves participating in platform upgrades, resolving technological issues, supporting audit and risk closure actions, automating problem detection and resolution, and maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations and permissions. The specialist will also engage vendors and internal technology teams to define platform roadmaps, manage change requests, and contribute to the adoption of modern technologies to enhance customer experience across digital channels.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Understand and support digital banking platforms, working with vendors and technology teams
Define platform enhancements, customizations, and change requests
Analyze and document requirements for new digital products, services, and customer journeys
Resolve production incidents and support business and customer requests
Support platform upgrades and closure of audit and risk findings
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth product delivery and adoption of modern technologies
Monitor system health, automate problem detection and resolution
Document configuration changes, workflows, roles, and permissions
Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of digital channels systems
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Required)
MBA/MSc is an added advantage
Professional qualifications in Project Management, Product Management, or Agile are an advantage
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in digital banking systems
At least 3 years’ experience in mobile banking, internet banking, and digital lending support
Minimum 1 year experience in payment platform configuration and support
Minimum 1 year experience in DevOps and Agile environments
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of digital banking and payment technologies
Knowledge of system configuration and deployment processes
Excellent documentation and analytical skills
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Ability to troubleshoot system issues and perform platform monitoring
Attention to detail and commitment to data and system integrity
Strong communication skills
