Job Description
The Senior Product Manager will drive product strategy and roadmap execution for key product areas within Remote’s platform. The role involves leading end-to-end product development — from research and product vision to delivery and performance optimization — working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
The candidate will develop user-centric solutions focused on payroll, benefits, compliance, and global workforce services, with an emphasis on async communication, iterative delivery, and collaboration across distributed teams. They will guide product planning, define feature scope, align initiatives to business KPIs, and ensure a seamless user experience across software and service layers. The role also supports long-term strategic planning, market research, scaling product processes, and knowledge sharing across the product organization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and roadmap for assigned product area
Define problems, scope solutions, and drive iterative delivery
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions
Work with engineering & design teams to build and scale product capabilities
Own cross-functional communication & stakeholder alignment
Ensure product delivers measurable business and customer results
Drive end-to-end user experience improvements across platforms & services
Monitor key product KPIs and align initiatives with company goals
Guide product team execution & support async, collaborative workflows
Advocate for minimal-viable solutions and continuous product improvement
Document and share product learnings, contributing to product culture
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Product, or related field
Experience
Proven experience as Product Manager in a high-growth tech environment
Experience in HR tech, payroll, benefits, compliance, or fintech preferred
Strong track record scaling B2B SaaS products
Experience working in distributed / remote teams is an advantage
