Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Officer (Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: Fourteen Twenty
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: To manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply of all goods required for bar and restaurant operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers for beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), food ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with budget and inventory needs.
Ensure all procured items meet quality specifications, especially for bar stock.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors.
Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Coordinate with the Store Keeper and kitchen/bar managers to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations (e.g., liquor licensing).
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have proven procurement or purchasing experience within the hospitality industry, specifically in a bar, restaurant, or hotel.
Strong knowledge of F&B products, particularly bar supplies and beverages.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in inventory or procurement software and MS Office.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
Key Requirement: MUST HAVE BAR EXPERIENCE
