Job Description
Job Title: Storekeeper (Fresher Diploma Jobs)
Organisation: Fourteen Twenty
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: To receive, store, issue, and manage all inventory (especially bar stock, food items, and supplies) in an organized, secure, and systematic manner, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting smooth daily operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
Properly store items in designated areas (dry store, refrigerated, bar stock) using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
Issue stock to the bar, kitchen, and other departments upon authorized request.
Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment.
Monitor stock levels and alert the Procurement Officer of low inventory or expiring items.
Prepare inventory reports for management.
Assist in controlling pilferage and ensuring security of stock.
Support during audits and inventory checks.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or relevant experience.
Must have prior experience as a store keeper or in inventory control within a bar, restaurant, or hotel.
Strong knowledge of bar stock, beverages, and F&B storage requirements (including temperature control).
Physical ability to lift, move, and organize stock.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Honest, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Key Requirement: MUST HAVE BAR EXPERIENCE
