PROCUREMENT OFFICER (Bids & Supply Chain Strategist)

Role Purpose To identify opportunities, prepare winning bids, source competitively, and ensure timely, compliant supply of goods and services

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Identify tender opportunities from public and private entities
Prepare and submit compliant, competitive bid documents
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and technical specs
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and warranties
Maintain supplier database and evaluate supplier performance
Coordinate with operations and finance to meet bid requirements
Ensure procurement activities meet ethical and regulatory standards

Innovation Expectations

Spot opportunities others miss
Develop supplier partnerships that reduce cost and improve speed
Improve bid success rate through better strategy and intelligence
