Job Description
Job Title: Process Control Engineer

Duty Station: Jinja, Uganda
Job Summary:
The key purpose of this role is to provide process engineering expertise to the line teams, Optimise production processes, Facilitates problem solving and decision making, Work in teams, Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Optimise PLC and SCADA hardware and software standards for site
Networks and servers
Microsoft server software
Manufacturing Execution systems (MES)
PLC systems
Manufacturing processes
S88 batch control standard
Field instrumentation and networks
SCADA systems
Maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation and measuring devices
Facilitate problem solving
Optimise team performance
Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
Support team development
Asset register up dated
Instrumentation and Hardware Spares stocks levels maintained
Knowledgeable on VPO best practices
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree holders in Electrical and Electronics
Min: 3 years experience with Control and Automation
Key attributes and competencies:
Excellent problem solving ability
Strong Analytical ability
Attention to detail
Proactive with high energy levels
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to follow through
Internal Actualisation
