Job Description
The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as Principal for the JCRC Health Sciences Training Program. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership and strategic direction for laboratory-based training programs, ensuring excellence in both practical laboratory instruction and pedagogical practice.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the development and delivery of laboratory-based health sciences training programs
- Oversee laboratory and other training facilities, ensuring compliance with biosafety and quality standards
- Ensure integration of hands-on laboratory practice with modern pedagogical approaches
- Participate in curriculum design, review, and implementation in line with national and international standards
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff and trainees
- Promote research, innovation, and continuous professional development
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic, government, and health sector among other stakeholders
