Job Description
In order to meet its Vision and Mission, the University invites applications from passionate and competent individuals to fill the Part Time Lecturer teaching positions
Part Time Lecturers in:
- Accounting & Finance
- Project Planning & Management
- Management
- Public Health
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in assigned courses.
- Use blended and student-centered teaching methods in line with university standards.
- Develop course outlines, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
Assessment & Student Support
- Design and mark assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Supervise and mentor students on academic and professional development.
Academic Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Cavendish University Uganda’s academic policies and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities as required.
- Support curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives.
Professional Conduct
- Uphold the University’s values of integrity, innovation, and ethical leadership.
- Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.
- Represent the University professionally at all times.
