Design, install, and manage secure network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
Support and maintain ICT hardware, telecommunication systems, and PABX.
Ensure proper configuration of switches, routers, and network security systems.
Maintain up-to-date hardware inventory and documentation.
Supervise ICT support staff and manage network-related projects.
Contribute to UMI’s goal of becoming a research and innovation-led institution.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management implementation.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Postgraduate diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT (Mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
Full professional certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ (Mandatory).
Master’s degree and membership in a professional body are added advantages.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.

Effective communication and result orientation.
Problem-solving and innovation.
Team leadership and collaboration.
