Job Description
This role involves creating and implementing effective marketing and outreach plans to increase awareness and utilization of hospital services. The Marketing Officer will drive business development initiatives, identify new revenue streams, and nurture relationships with corporate clients, HMOs, referral sources, and community stakeholders. They will act as the hospital’s liaison to external partners, represent the hospital at health events and meetings, monitor the impact of marketing efforts, and collaborate with internal teams to support excellent service delivery and client retention.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote hospital services
Drive business development and identify new revenue opportunities and partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, HMOs, referral sources, and community stakeholders
Act as liaison between the hospital and external partners to enhance service delivery
Represent the hospital at community health events, corporate visits, and partnership meetings
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence that supports client retention

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing or business development (healthcare sector experience is an advantage)
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to identify and convert leads
Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently
