Job Description

The Manager – Library Services will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of URA’s library and information services. The role ensures effective access to information resources, supports research and knowledge management, and provides leadership in library operations across the Authority.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all library operations, services, and programs.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for library services.
  • Oversee acquisition, cataloguing, classification, and maintenance of library resources.
  • Facilitate access to print and digital information resources for staff and stakeholders.
  • Promote knowledge management, research support, and information literacy programs.
  • Lead and supervise library staff, providing mentorship and performance management.
  • Maintain organized records of library collections and resources.
  • Monitor and report on library performance and usage statistics.
  • Ensure compliance with URA policies and professional standards in library and information services.
